Professor Andre Butz new at the Meteorological Institute

Prof. Dr. Andre Butz is a new Professor at LMU and German Aerospace Center at Oberpfaffenhofen. He is head of the departement Remote sensing of the Atmosphere at DLR Institute for Atmospheric Physics and Professor at the Meteorological Institute. Prof. Butz works on the satellite-borne and ground-based remote sensing of greenhouse gases in order to assess sources and sinks of these importatn climate gases. Up to now he led the Emmy-Noether Group RemoteC at the Karlsruhe Institute for Technology (KIT).
